Introduction to the fundamentals and steps in a simulation study:

  • discrete-event simulation
  • random variables and random number generation
  • statistical data analysis
  • ordinary differential equations and numerical integration
  • stochastic Petri nets
  • the AnyLogic simulation system
  • discrete-time Markov chains
  • agent-based simulation
