  • can describe the advantages and drawbacks of a given IR/NLP/HCI approach in form of a scientific paper
  • can present and defend a practical project by a presentation and discussion

Content:
The seminar focuses on writing a scientific paper and delivering a short presentation on a hands-on project in one of the following research areas: Information Retrieval:

  • Document organization
  • Information management
  • Ranking & Explainability

  • Tokenization & Filtering
  • Latent Representations of Words / Sentences / Documents
