  • understand the role of IT for the modern company
  • understand what a business model is, how the Internet influences the design of business models and what role IT plays for business models on the Internet
  • have an insight into the role of data for decision support in the company
  • understand how methods for deriving simple models work and how they can be evaluated
  • can derive models for simple problems
and have thus acquired the necessary foundations to be able to design IT solutions.

Inhalt:

  • Basic principles of IT in the company, including IT along the value chain
  • Data for decision support, including data management and simple learning processes
  • Companies in the network, including business models and the role of IT

Arbeitsaufwand:

  • 28 hours - in presence : lecture class (2 hours per week)
  • 28 hourse in presence: exercise class (2 hours per week)
  • 94 hours: independent work (for lectures, exerices and for the exam preparation)
