  • learn means and methods for developing software based on the definition of hardware and software.
  • develop an understanding of the early phases of software development such as algorithm design and modeling, programming and testing.
  • learn how to use the Matlab programming language and a suitable development environment and practise practical skills.
  • have acquired knowledge about the handling of large amounts of data (database systems), the graphical representation of information and software technology and have trained skills and abilities to solve specific tasks in their own specialist area using computers.
  • have acquired the skills to be able to systematically develop computer science techniques in their further studies.
