👋 The new module handbook
Welcome to the new module handbook!
We hope that the new version will make planning for study programmes easier.
Motivation
Until the winter semester 2024/25, there was one module handbook for all study programmes, which was often confusing for students.
What is new?
From summer semester 2025, a module handbook will be provided for each study programme for the winter and summer semesters.
This will contain the modules that are actually offered in the current semester.
Each module handbook also contains further information to help you plan your studies.
These changes are the result of the latest study programme reviews and are intended to help students obtain an up-to-date, reliable and easily accessible overview of their module content.
What does it contain?
There are separate shelves for Bachelor's and Master's study programmes and for the summer and winter semesters. Each shelf contains the specific module handbooks for the individual study programmes.
Each handbook contains the following:
- An orientation chapter with information about the study programme, an overview of the modules based on an exemplary standard study plan and references to modules from other faculties.
- A chapter on news in the study programme or at the faculty, for example on modules that cannot be offered in the current semester or on newly introduced modules.
- Several chapters listing all modules that are assigned to a specific area according to the standard curriculum.
- A page with information and regulations from the Examination Board that may be relevant to your study programme.
- A page with a link to a feedback-form in order to further improve our module handbooks.
The faculty wishes its students every success with the new module handbook!
