👋 A warm welcome

Dear students,

Welcome to the module handbook for your study program.

The module handbook contains all the modules you need to successfully complete your studies. A module is always a teaching unit consisting of several courses (e.g., lectures and exercises) designed to help you acquire skills and abilities during your studies. All modules are described in detail in the module handbook so that you can plan your studies more precisely.

🗺️ What can I find here?

In your module handbook, you will find:

  • An 🧭 orientation chapter that summarizes the degree program, provides guidance based on a sample standard study plan, outlines possible study profiles for your degree program, and lists modules from other faculties.
  • The chapter 📰 News informs you about changes to modules compared to the previous semester, provides tips on using AI, information from the student council, and more.
  • In addition, the ⚠️ regulations of the examination board are linked.
  • The chapters Modules in the area [...] up to the chapter Master Thesis then list the modules that are compulsory or elective for your degree program according to the standard study plan.
  • A page with a link to a feedback form to collect suggestions for further improving our module handbooks in the future.
⭐ How can I use this?
  1. This overview helps you plan for this semester and future semesters. Most modules are not offered every semester. Some modules build on each other. This requires forward planning if you want to study a specialized subject.
  2. In the elective area, the form of the exam can also provide information about your own capacity for the exam workload.
  3. To check which modules you have already successfully completed and which ones you still need to successfully complete your degree.
