**Intended learning outcomes:** DEUTSCH: Beim erfolgreichen Abschluss von diesem Projekt können die Studierenden:

- ein Team gestalten, sich in dieses Team einordnen, Teilaufgaben unter sich teilen, Meilensteine setzen und einen gemeinsamen Zeitplan angehen
- eine vereinfachte Data-Mining oder Data-Engineering Aufgabe in Gruppenarbeit lösen
- in Gruppenarbeit eine Softwarelösung entwerfen, entwickeln und evaluieren
- ihre Entscheidungen bzgl Entwurf, Gestaltung und Software-auswahl begründen
- ihre Arbeit als Team präsentieren
- einen gemeinsamen Bericht schreiben, wo sie ihre Lösung zusammenfassen und begründen

ENGLISH: When completing this project successfully, the students can: - build up a team and organize themselves in it, distributing subtasks among themselves according to their competences, setting milestones and pursuing a joint schedule
- solve a simpified data mining or data engineering task in teamwork
- design, develop and evaluate a software solution jointly
- justify their design decisions and software suite selections
- present their work as a team
- write a joint report where they summarize and justify their approach

  
**Content:** DEUTSCH: Realistische aber vereinfachte Aufgabe, welche Datenanalyse mit Lernverfahren beinhaltet; die Aufgabe umfasst Entwurf, Entwicklung und Evaluation einer Softwarelösung als Gruppenarbeit ENGLISH: Assignment of a realistic but simplified task that involves the analysis of data with learning methods. The assignment involves design, development and evaluation of a software solution in teamwork.

**Workload:** DEUTSCH:

- Für jedes Gruppenmitglied: 28 Std Präsenz inkl Konsultationen und Sitzungen, 96 Std Selbststudium
- Die Aufgabe ist für eine Studierendengruppe; der Aufwand ist 5 ECTS pro Gruppenmitglied

ENGLISCH: - For each team member: 28 h in presence (incl consultations and meetings) + 96 h self-study
- Asssignments are designed for student teams; the effort of each team member is 5 ECTS.
